I’ve had the privilege of Art Directing the Westminster Magazine since the Fall/Winter 2022 Issue. This biannual magazine is Westminster’s outlet for long-form storytelling and goes out to thousands of alumni, current families, and faculty.
process
Getting an edition of Westminster Magazine from initial concept to 15,000 mailboxes takes a few months, a few pivots, and a LOT of opinions. In my role as Art Director, I take these opinions into account, pivot when needed, sketch, talk, ideate, take photos, and do whatever necessary to get an end product that furthers our institutional goals—and one that we’re all proud of.
